‍This project in Slough involved the installation of new tarmac surfacing alongside essential groundwork and drainage infrastructure. The objective was to create a durable, safe, and well-drained surface suitable for regular vehicle and pedestrian use within a busy commercial environment.

The project began with excavation and preparation works, including the installation of underground services such as drainage pipes. Trenches were carefully dug and pipework was positioned and secured to ensure effective water flow and long-term reliability. Backfilling and compaction were carried out to create a stable foundation for the surfacing layers.

Once the groundwork and drainage systems were in place, we moved on to preparing the base for the tarmac. This involved levelling and compacting the sub-base to ensure a consistent and supportive surface. Hot tarmac was then laid and spread evenly across the area, with attention given to achieving a smooth finish and clean transitions around existing structures, access points, and service covers.

The final surface provides a strong, weather-resistant finish designed to withstand daily use while maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Proper drainage integration ensures that water is effectively managed, reducing the risk of pooling or surface damage over time.
