Footings and brickwork to damp course

This project in Epping involved the construction of structural footings and brickwork up to damp proof course (DPC) level for a new residential build. The work formed a critical early stage of the build, setting the foundation for the structure above.

We began by preparing the ground and installing the footings, ensuring they were set out accurately and poured to the correct depth and specification. These footings provide the structural base, distributing the load of the building evenly and ensuring long-term stability.

Once the footings were in place and cured, we moved on to the brickwork phase. Courses of brick and block were carefully laid to build up the structure to DPC level. Accuracy was key throughout, with attention given to line, level, and consistency to ensure a solid and precise finish.

Drainage points and service entries were incorporated as required, allowing for future connections without the need for rework. The layout was constructed to align perfectly with the building plans, ensuring a smooth transition into the next stage of construction.

The result is a strong and well-executed base, ready for the next phase of the build. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver reliable groundwork and brickwork solutions, combining structural integrity with clean, professional workmanship from the outset.
